Former Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba says he is ready to listen to offers from any PSL teams as he looks to return to coaching.
Mashaba has been without a job since he was sacked as South Africa coach last year and, speaking during the Nedbank Cup Ke Yona team announcement this week, he said he is ready to coach in the Absa Premiership.
“I’m available anytime, I’m done with my problems and all that,” Mashaba said.
“I’m looking at going forward and anybody that needs my services, I’m available.
“At the moment, I wouldn’t say yes or no if there has been contact from the PSL clubs, I don’t want to reveal that.”
It is believed that AmaZulu were one of the teams who contacted Mashaba prior to employing Cavin Johnson, but the ex-Bafana boss neither confirmed nor denied the claims.
“I don’t want to comment about anything now because if I say nobody contacted me, you will say I’m lying,” Mashaba said.
“And if I say somebody contacted me, you will ask who is that. Things are still in discussion, that’s what I want us to respect.”
Mashaba also believe that he will return to Bafana again for his third spell in the future.
“I don’t doubt my record allows me to go back to Bafana. It was just off the pitch what happened. I don’t think it is about what happened on the evening of that game.
“It could be something that I don’t know what it is. I will be happy if someone can come and tell me about it.”
