Former Orlando Pirates striker score second goal in four matches in Europe

Kermit Erasmus got his second goal in four games this week as he rifled home from the edge of the box, with Esktilstuna still on track for promotion.

After nine games this season so far, the Swedish side find themselves in third place and in a promotion playoff spot, helped by the point they achieved against Gefle this week as Erasmus got on the scoresheet.

The 27-year-old has been a regular feature for the club since he finalised his arrival and paperwork in Sweden, and is now looking to help the side in their push for promotion into the Allsvenskan next season.

Erasmus had limited options when it came to leagues he could join due to the timing of his exit from Stade Rennais in France, but will be delighted to be back playing – and scoring – again in Europe following a difficult spell in Ligue 1.

Eskilstuna’s next game sees them face Norrby on Monday.
