Mamelodi Sundowns are yet to find a training pitch to begin preparations for the CAF Champions League encounter against Wydad Athletic Club in Morocco.
The Brazilians touched down in Morocco yesterday, September 19, where they were set to begin training for Saturday’s second leg CAF Champions League quarter-final clash against Wydad Athletic.
However, the Siya crew has since been informed that Wydad Athletic have not organised a training pitch for the Brazilians to begin their preparations, with FUS Rabat also refusing to allow the CAF Champions League winners to use their pitch.
There are just three days to go before the second leg quarter-final encounter on Saturday, September 23, with Head Coach Pitso Mosimane’s side now left stranded without a pitch for training.
Indications are that Sundowns will look to take the matter up with CAF today and it remains to be seen whether the Brazilians will find a place to train before the day ends.
