SuperSport United have confirmed they rejected a transfer request from their striker, Jeremy Brockie.
The New Zealander has been the subject of a move to Mamelodi Sundowns, with Downs coach Pitso Mosimane making no secret of his admiration for the striker.
Brockie, however, looks set to continue playing for SuperSport after the club insisted Brockie is not for sale.
“The club would like to officially confirm that Jeremy Brockie handed in a transfer request last week, which the SuperSport United board has rejected.
“The Matsatsantsa striker will NOT be sold to any club at any price,” read a statement on the club’s official Facebook account.
Brockie was left out of the Matsatsantsa squad for Saturday’s MTN8 semifinal against Maritzburg United.
