Ajax Cape Town have parted ways with one of their strikers, despite the club still embroiled in a legal battle involving the player.
Ajax have recently been docked seven points from their Absa Premiership campaign after the PSL found the Cape Town-based club guilty for the ineligible fielding of Ndoro. Consequently, the Cape Town club was automatically relegated from South Africa’s top-flight, although not going down without a fight.
The club recently appeared before the high court where they requested the review of the decision to dock points from their league campaign, while also arguing that they are reinstated in the 15th position, earning the right to participate in the promotion/relegation play-offs, which was recently won by Black Leopards.
However, while there is yet to be a verdict issued on their previous appeals, the club has begun reshuffling the squad.
Ajax have since issued Ndoro with his clearance, after spending just six months at the club, as they prepare for the big possibility of campaigning in the National First Division next season.
