Word reaching the Siya crew is that SuperSport United are considering taking a look at former Orlando Pirates target, Murushid Juuko.
The Buccaneers were heavily linked with the Ugandan centre back last year following Milutin Sredojevic’s appointment at the club, however, that move never materialised at the player remained with Simba SC in Tanzania.
Juuko, 24, is an established Uganda international having made his debut under ‘Micho’ back in 2014 – the same year that he joined Tanzanian giants, Simba – and it is known that Matsatsantsa are on the lookout for a new central defender.
Now, with Simba open to letting him leave, Juuko is on the lookout for the next step in his career, a step that could now potentially involve a move to the Absa Premiership.
According to Siya sources, the defender has made his way onto SuperSport’s radar as Kaitano Tembo prepares for the new season, and it is thought that they are keen to take a closer look at him.
