Get to know Ivy Nkutha AKA Gog Flo of Generations the Legacy

Ivy Nkutha is one of the elderly actress in the South African entertainment industry. She has been in the industry for many years and has had roles on Soul City, Muvhango, Isidingo, City Sesla, and Zabalaza. She also had roles on movies, Duma, Faith’s Corner, and Skin. Ivy has her own way of acting as she is very calm and patient.

Ivy got herself a role on Generations the Legacy as Gog Flo who is a mother and grandmother to the children who grew up in poverty in one of the notorious townships of South Africa, Alexandra. Gog Flo instills discipline and is a religious person and makes sure all her children treat people with respect and love.

Ivy is a family old lady who has two daughters with her husband. Her only son passed away last year. The loss of her son took toll on her family’s health and it took a lot of time for the family to accept what happened to them. Her two daughters have been a pillar of strength during the loss.

Her role is all about making sure that the elderly are very important in families especially where kids need guidance and motivations. As Gog Flo, she has the ability to change people’s emotions and also to change one’s overall behavior in the community or society as a whole.

Her two children/grandchildren, Lucy and Cosmo, are involved in negative things but when it comes to her, they know she does not approve of their way of doing things and they make sure she knows nothing of their activities. They have much respect for her and treat her with a lot of love because that is what she does to each and every person. She treats them with love and receives love.
