Kaizer Chiefs defender signs a deal in Turkey

Kaizer Chiefs’ Teenage Hadebe has been confirmed as a new signing for a club in Turkey, as player movements continue for the Soweto giants during this transfer window.

It was revealed by the Siya crew that the Zimbabwean defender appeared to be on the move, with indications that he was no longer training with Amakhosi, amid interest from Yeni Malatyaspor in Turkey.

It has since been confirmed by various football publications in Turkey that the 23-year-old Zimbabwean, who played for The Warriors during the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, has joined the Turkish Super League club.

According to reports, Hadebe has joined the club along with Luke Brattan – an Australian midfielder who previously played in England.

“New Malatyaspor will compete in the European League, (for) the transfer of Zimbabwe national team’s stopper Teenage Hadebe, and Luke Brattan who has played for Manchester City, has been reached,” Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik, reports.

“South African team Kaizer Chiefs’ Zimbabwe defender Teenage Hadebe and Australian Luke Brattan reached a deal with New Malatyaspor,” confirmed the publication, in part.
