Defender Marc van Heerden has attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs a few days after he was released by Orlando Pirates.
According to Isolezwe, Van Heerden’s status as a free agent triggered three offers from Absa Premiership club.
Amakhosi have one left back in their squad after releasing Sibusiso Khumalo and Tsepo Masilela.
“There are three teams that are looking to sign him, one of those teams in Kaizer Chiefs,” a source was quoted by Isolezwe.
Van Heerden spoke to the same publication about his future plans and confirmed he had offers.
“I am talking to a few teams. I will make a decision soon.
“Many will be surprised by my decision, what is important for me right now is to join a team that will give me game time.
“I did all that I could at Pirates, but I was unlucky.”
