Kaizer Chiefs to attempt to sign their former goalkeeper from SuperSport United

A SuperSport United goalkeeper could possibly be on his way out of the club at the end of the season should a potential suitor be willing to put in an offer for his services.
Reyaad Pieterse, 26, has been with Matsatsantsa for almost two years now following his exit from Kaizer Chiefs back in 2016, playing over 40 games for the club as he battled it out with Ronwen Williams for the number one spot.
Now, according to our sources, there is a possibility of the former Amakhosi man making a move away from Tshwane should the right sort of offer come up, with his old club one of the names being linked with a potential move.
The shot-stopper does still have more than a year left on his current contract with SuperSport – it expires at the end of next season – but SuperSport could be willing to either sell him or use him as part of a swap deal if he is eager to go in search of more regular football elsewhere.
Both Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates are known to be on the hunt for a goalkeeper as they look to bolster their respective teams ahead of the 2018/19 season, although it remains to be seen whether either of them are options at this point in time. Chiefs could be an option given the seemingly imminent exit of Brilliant Khuzwayo.
With Pieterse and Williams being almost exactly the same age, it could become difficult for both players to remain at the club as they seek regular game-time, and with Williams recently signing a long-term contract, the ex-Shamrock Rovers man could start to look elsewhere.
