Orlando Pirates are without Vincent Pule for tonight’s match

Orlando Pirates have confirmed that midfielder Vincent Pule did not make the trip to Conakry ahead of their CAF Champions League clash this weekend.

Pirates departed for Guinea in midweek as they gear up to face Horoya in their final Champions League Group B encounter on Saturday afternoon.

The two sides meet in a winner-takes-all encounter at the 28 September Stadium at 15h00 (SA time).

The Buccaneers have since provided an update of their travels following their arrival on Thursday evening, with coach Milutin Sredojevic having been dealt one definite blow to his plans.

Pule has remained behind in Johannesburg after picking up a knock in training this week, while striker Justin Shonga also sustained a minor injury but managed to travel with the rest of the team.

The Zambian international is due for a late fitness test to determine his readiness for tomorrow’s encounter.
