According to Siya sources, Orlando Pirates and Highlands Park have shown an interest in potentially bringing a Black Leopards star on board during the January transfer window.
Karabo Tshepe has been called upon regularly by Lidoda Duvha so far this season, playing eight of their 10 Absa Premiership games – including last night’s defeat to Kaizer Chiefs – and has also been one of their goalscorers.
Now, with the next window just a couple of months away, the Siya crew has been led to believe that both the Buccaneers and the Lions of the North are considering a move for the midfield man, although it remains to be seen whether his current club will be open to letting him leave.
Tshepe, who will turn 30 in a few weeks, played a vital role in helping the club return to the top-flight last season, and the fact that he has played so regularly this season suggests that they still consider him to be an important squad player.
Both Pirates and Highlands Park were contacted for comment on the matter, however, no reply was received before going to print.
