Our sources have indicated that Maritzburg United are on the verge of completing a deal for an Orlando Pirates player.
Head Coach Muhsin Etugral has been looking at making the necessary changes to his squad at the Team Of Choice, having already added Mpho Matsi to his squad in the current January transfer window.
While it is believed that Cape Town City striker, Judas Moseamedi is currently training with the club, sources have revealed to the Siya crew that the Team Of Choice are also set to conclude a deal for Thabiso Kutumela from the Buccaneers.
Maritzburg are currently struggling at the bottom of the league standings, with their lack of goal-scoring arguably their biggest problem at this point.
It seems that Ertugral is eager to beef up their attacking department in order to help with this problem, with the club seemingly confident that adding the likes of Moseamedia and Kutumela will help them in front of goal.
Kutumela was set to see his contract with Pirates expire on June 30, this year and it remains to be seen whether the player’s move to Maritzburg is a permanent transfer or a six-month loan deal.
