Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands is proving the critics wrong after a wonderful performance in the Soweto derby on Saturday afternoon at FNB Stadium.
Sandilands was better than a number of Pirates players on the field as he had brilliant saves in both halves to keep Pirates in the game.
Kaizer Chiefs should have scored a few goals if it was not for Sandilands who denied them. He kept Bernard Parker’ shots and had a few saves against Khama Billiat.
With Wayne in goals, Orlando Pirates are more than ready for the CAF Champions League matches. Remember Wayne was in goals when Mamelodi Sundowns won the CAF Champions League.
