Orlando Pirates could be set to send one of the young strikers on their books on loan for the new season.
Earlier in the week, The Buccaneers confirmed adding to their roster nine new players, as part of the plans to strengthen the team for the 2018/19 season.
The club has also welcomed back defender Brian Hlongwa, who has been on loan at Real Kings in the NFD.
News reaching the Siya crew is that Bucs could send striker Eethe Khaukanani on loan again in the new season. The young forward, who had a loan stint with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC in the NFD last season, made an early and unexpected return to Bucs in January this year, following alleged contractual issues with the Limpopo outfit.
“Pirates are likely to send Eethe Khaukanani on loan for the new season. There’s interest in the player from a number of clubs in the NFD,” said the source.
Khaukanani has spent much of his time at Bucs playing in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge. He has been on the club’s books since 2016, having joined the Soweto giants from Free State Stars.
