In the past weeks, the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City have released several players and Soccer Laduma takes a look at the players who are currently free agents in the PSL.
The July/August transfer window will be opening in less than two weeks and clubs have already begun making the necessary changes to their squads.
As predicted by the Siya crew, Chiefs have confirmed the release of Keagan Buchanan, William Twala, Sibusiso Khumalo, Edmore Chirambadare and revealed that they won’t be extending the stay of Tsepo Masilela.
City confirmed that they parted ways with Vincent Kobola and opted against extending the stay of Tshepo Gumede, while sources added that they have also released Sibusiso Masina from their books.
Pirates also confirmed several outgoing transfers while also releasing Marc van Heerden from their books.
Several other players will see their contracts come to an end this month, June 30, with interested suitors able to scoop their services up on a free.
On the other hand, Khama Billiat is yet to confirm his immediate future with Mamelodi Sundowns, with his contract also coming to an end on June 30.
