Zodwa Wabantu donates R10K for a disabled child




Local entertainer, Zodwa Wabantu, has shown that the dance floor is not the only place she knows how to make people happy.

The well known dancer recently shared how touched she was when she saw an emotional video on Facebook of a mother begging for money with her disabled child.

Zodwa, whose real name is Zodwa Libram, decided to personally look for the mother and her child and lend a helping hand.

The star said she was reminded of her own humble beginnings.

“I was looking back at my own life when I had nothing. You can’t just be rich and bragging about expensive alcohol. I’m Zodwa for the people and let me share,” she told TshisaLIVE.

Sure enough, after making sure that she was not being taken for a ride, Zodwa has delivered on her promise.

She took to Instagram to share pictures of the front page of the ILANGA newspaper showing her handing over the 10k cheque as she
